Who am I?

You might wonder who I am to coach you and how I became the person I am today—a life coach passionate about helping others embrace self-love and create a meaningful life rooted in consciousness and authenticity.

In 2017, I left Vietnam and came to Canada alone, with no family or friends, ready to start over. With a background in accounting, I thought I was following the path society had laid out: study hard, get a stable career, and build a secure life. By 2022, I had checked all the boxes—earning a good salary and on my way to becoming a CPA.

Then, life brought me to a crossroads. That same year, I experienced the heartbreak of losing someone very close to me to an overdose. It shook me to my core and made me question everything. Is this what life all about? Getting good grades, climbing the corporate ladder, getting married, paying a mortgage, and waiting for retirement? I couldn’t accept that this was all there was. So I quit my job, sold all my furniture, packed my bags, and left for a self-discovery journey across some countries in Asia.

The trip was transformative but not without pain. While visiting India, I lost a friendship with my best friend forever. A month later, I received the devastating news that my mother had taken her own life before we could repair our relationship. Within just a few months, I had lost three of the most important people in my life. I hit rock bottom and experienced what some call the “dark night of the soul”. I had no sense of purpose, no direction, and no idea how to move forward. I questioned:

Who am I? Why am I here on Earth?

From 2023 to early 2024, I traveled between Vietnam and Russia to manage family-owned businesses, navigating the challenges of corrupt environments. Alongside these external struggles, I faced an even greater battle within myself. For the first time of my life, I had no choice but to turn inward. I went to therapy, devoured books, listened to podcasts, attended retreats, and enrolled in courses—anything I could find to help me process my traumas and understand the deeper truth of life. It wasn’t as easy as I tell it now—the pain was tremendous, both physically and emotionally. Many nights, I cried in darkness. Since childhood, I had never been taught how to love or accept myself. Growing up with divorced parents, I learned to chase external achievements, thinking they would make me “successful” or “worthy.”

But for the first time, I began to truly make friends with myself. Over the past three years, I’ve experienced the most profound growth of my life. I’ve healed wounds I didn’t even know I had. I’ve found joy and contentment—not in perfect circumstances, but in accepting life as it is and making the most of every moment.

Today, I live with a deep sense of gratitude for simply being alive. I no longer wait for external circumstances to bring me happiness. Instead, I create the life I want and embrace every challenge as an opportunity to grow. I have become the creator of my life, choosing to be at the cause rather than the effect. This transformative journey has led me to coaching in 2024, after returning to Canada. My love, compassion, and passion are rooted in empowering people to turn inward, connect with their true selves, and cultivate unconditional self-love—not just on the good days, but even in moments of mistakes and setbacks. My purpose as a coach is to guide you in discovering and fully embracing your most authentic self.

If my story resonates with you, I want you to know that transformation and growth are always possible. You are worthy of a life filled with joy, contentment, and purpose. I’d be honored to walk this path with you and help you uncover the strength and wisdom already within you.

You don’t have to do it alone!

Become someone who is at the cause, rather than the effect, of your life.
